United American was founded in 1947, and started selling Medicare Supplement insurance plans in 1966 when Medicare began. For the past 40 consecutive years we’ve earned an A+ (Superior) Financial Strength Rating from A.M. Best Company (as of 6/15). But we didn’t stay in business just because of high ratings. Today, the number of Agents appointed with United American continues to grow by the thousands. They receive training to help them develop as an Agent, reach their goals, and build their own Agencies.
